Physical Activities

Work Out Area:

  • Hasselbring has an area equipped with treadmill, stationery bike, elliptical and weight training equipment for use. Please check in the office prior to to starting your workout for safety precautionary purposes.

  • Gloria Coles Library Extension: Books are available for check out in the office. Stop by to see availability.

  • Computer Class: Wednesday & Friday 10:00am-12:00pm

  • SmartPhone Solutions: 3rd Thursday 4:00-5:30pm

 
Nutritional Programs

​Congregate Meal is served Monday - Friday 11:30am - 12:30pm

  • The G.C.C.A.R.D. prepared meal is available for a suggested donation of $3.00 for Genesee County residents that are age 60 and over.

  • Non-Genesee County residents and those seniors age 59 and under are invited to attend at a cost of $6.00.

  • All Congregate Meal participants MUST have a NAPIS Form on file in the office.

  • Make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance by (both) signing up in the lunch room AND registering on the kiosk. If you are unable to come to the center, please call the Main Office at (810) 766-9516 for assistance with registering. 

 

FBEM Senior Box Program - provides supplemental food boxes to seniors, age 62 and older monthly on the 4th Friday of each month.

  • Enrollment must be renewed annually.

  • Registrations are accepted on an on-going basis, however due to center limitations, applications may be held until there is availability.

Nutrition Education

  • Conducted monthly during lunch by GCCARD/Hasselbring Staff
