Previously organized as The Detroit Street Senior Center, Hasselbring Senior Center moved to the new facilities at 1002 W. Home Avenue and was dedicated on April 6, 1987. Hasselbring is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to serving Genesee County senior residents age 50 and older.

Located in the heart of North Flint, Hasselbring is considered the focal point of the community and the point of entry to the aging network. We serve as a community anchor that supports the model of the traditional neighborhood and offers a wide range of amenities, activities, and interests, each offering a unique and desirable sense of place for members.

Our program is ever growing through the hard work of senior volunteers, community leaders and a dedicated staff who felt called to service in the community.
